Apples and Cranberries Crisp

This is a sweet side dish or dessert with two fall favorite fruits, apples and cranberries!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 green apple chopped and peeled
  • 2 red apples chopped and peeled
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp GF all purpose flour

Crumble:

  • 1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup GF all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup DF butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Combine apples, cranberries, sugar and flour in a 11x7-in. baking dish.
  • Mix together the crumble ingredients in a separate bowl until well mixed. Sprinkle over the apple and cranberries mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 50-55 minutes.
  • If crumble is not crispy enough, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Notes

If cranberries are not in season, soak craisins in hot water for 20 minutes.
